Soul Stories facilitates a Mental Wellness Storytelling Workshop for middle and high school students utilizing the principals of social emotional learning. Our mission is to teach students how to develop personal tools and build meaningful community that supports their social, emotional and mental wellbeing. We do this by providing students a safe structured space to engage in intentional play-based activities, personal story writing, facilitated sharing and creative expression.
Up to twelve weeks of reoccurring workshops
Teacher & organizational trainings
Customized packages to suit the needs of your community
We approach mental health from an unique angle. Instead of a clinical approach, Soul Stories targets social isolation by increasing young people’s feelings of connectedness, and providing transferable tools for youth to build those connections beyond the workshop.

OF THE DPS STUDENTS WE HAVE WORKED WITH...
97% SAY OUR
SESSION WAS VALUABLE TO THEM
94% SAY IT TAUGHT THEM SKILLS THEY CAN USE TO SUPPORT THEIR FRIENDS
99% WOULD RECOMMEND US TO OTHER SCHOOLS
“WITH FINDING OTHER PEOPLE WHO GO THROUGH THE SAME THINGS AS I"
“FIND ME, FEEL MY EMOTIONS & BOND WITH MY PEERS"
"THINK DEEPER ABOUT THE STORY I WANTED TO TELL & GET THE COURAGE TO SAY IT IN FRONT OF PEERS"
Soul Stories created a space for our students to take risks and be vulnerable by creating genuine and compassionate peer relationships. Their magic is in their ability to model and relate to students by sharing their own successes and challenges in order to demonstrate the courage they hoped each student would work towards. Danny and Noah balance a room full of grace, liveliness, community, collaboration, and fun. It was a place our students embraced and looked forward to being a part of.
