OVER 175 EVENTS
IN THE METRO
Over the last 9 years, Soul Stories has hosted over 175 events and workshops including “The People We Love,” “Black Community Matters,” and “Facing the Divide: A Conversation Between Liberals and Conservatives.” These events have impacted 6,000+ participants in the metro Denver area. Our founder Danny Mazur also gave a TEDx talk on “Creating Connection Through Dialogue” in 2019.
Over the last three years, we have developed a Mental Wellness Storytelling Workshop working with youth across the Metro Denver area. Check out our page to learn more!
Events and workshops combine dialogue, storytelling, and creative expression to create spaces where different perspectives can be shared and heard. We value difficult conversations and sharing personal stories as a way to build empathy and expand our world view. Our events, workshops, and curriculum is based in principles of social emotional learning.
WE ACCOMPLISH OUR GOALS THROUGH THREE PILLARS:
Soul Stories creates experiences for individuals, communities and organizations to engage in meaningful and creative dialogue. Here are some examples of what we create:
