Our Inaugural  event was on April 26, 2019 at Savoy @ Curtis Park! Read below for details.

Be on the look out for out live recorded stories from our 1st event on The Soul Stories Podcast. Hannah is in the process of creating a book and we will be back with our second event in April, 2020!

Come explore the idea of consent with stories, poetry, and dialogue on everything from unwanted kisses to free-roaming hands to the joys of group sex to asking compassionate questions. How does authority and power impact someone's ability to consent? How do we teach children to govern their own bodies? Is “yes” enough?

Un/pact is Soul Stories' inaugural event focused on violence prevention for Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2019. Un/pact is led and co-created by Hannah Skewes and is in partnership with the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CCASA).

"I wanted to create a space where all conversations surrounding consent could exist in the same space. I didn't report my sexual assault in college because I already knew the impact ambiguity has on the ability for others to believe. Here, we're unpacking that ambiguity and the impact it has on the whole cultural conversation."
